 Constantine Lesik became another recruit of “Iskra” Odintsovo for 2010/11 season.
C. Lesik was born in 1987, height - 197 cm. Previously he played for the team "Lokomotiv-Belogorie" (Belgorod) - 2005-08. "GUVD-Dynamo" (Krasnodar) - 2008-09. "Lokomotiv" (Novosibirsk ) - 2009-10.

 Next season Pavel Abramov will again defend the colors of the club from Odintsovo. Outside hitter of the Russian national Team signed one-year contract with “Iskra”. Last season Abramov held in the Polish club Jastrzebski Wegiel.

Maaseik, Belgium, March 28, 2010. After RPA-LuigiBacchi.it PERUGIA had clipped the GM Capital Challenge Cup this afternoon, the Italian Volleyball family had something more to celebrate as Bre Banca Lannutti CUNEO finished the weekend with a stellar performance to pick up the 2009/2010 CEV Cup.

 Luxembourg, March 3, 2010. Russia’s Iskra ODINTSOVO, CoprAtlantide PIACENZA of Italy and Noliko MAASEIK all qualified tonight for the final four of the 2009/2010 CEV Cup. The Russians had quite a demanding match to go through against TOURS VB of France, whereas the Italians quickly finished their job after having scored the single set they needed in the opening of the return match against Zaksa KEDZIERZYN-KOZLE of Poland. Noliko MAASEIK prevailed at the golden set against E.A. PATRON of Greece after both matches had ended with a 3:1.

 Luxembourg, February 24, 2010. There were a couple of away victories tonight for the opening matches of the Challenge Round in the CEV Cup. The Italians of Bre Banca Lannutti CUNEO scored tonight a 3:2 victory in the first match against Spain’s CAI TERUEL. Russia’s Iskra ODINTSOVO also needed a tie-break to outplay France’s TOURS VB. This match featured many ups and downs, ODINTSOVO impressed the French audience with some massive blocks but local heroes Ngapeth and Konecny (top scorer tonight with 24 points) were the key for TOURS VB to tie the count in the fourth set. However, German star Jochen Schöps set the tone for a quick tie-break with his great serves and the match came to an end at 15-9.
